Friends, This newsletter is going to be different from the usual newsletter I send. Why? Because I'm going to ask for your help. Recently I was privileged to offer a program to a wonderful organization, Dress For Success Boston. Dress for Success provides interview appropriate suits and accessories for disadvantaged women who are entering or re-entering the job market. Dress for Success works with a diverse population of women who come from many different backgrounds. However, they all share one important quality in common: they all are highly motivated to change their lives for the better and Dress for Success exists to assist them in doing so. Dress for Success doesn't stop there. Dress for Success offers ongoing support after a woman finds a job through their Professional Women's Group (PWG). TimeFinder's program, "From Perception to Reality--Organize for Success!" was extremely well received by PWG attendees. I was so impressed with the dedication of the women working for Dress for Success Boston as well as their clients. Dress for Success Boston needs your help. They will be having 2 donation days in August.
This is a great opportunity go to your
closets and select a business outfit and
accessories to donate! Please make sure what
you choose is appropriate for a job
interview. Making a good first impression is
vital. Feeling confident in what you are
wearing makes an amazing difference.
When you know you are giving to a good
cause, it makes it so much easier go to the
closet and find that special outfit that
someone else can benefit from. Please do
what you can.
If you are a man reading this, please pass
this along
to your wife, girlfriend, partner, sister,
friend, daughter,
etc. who may have women's suits and
accessories to
donate. DONATION DAYS IN AUGUST WILL BE: Tuesday, August 7th and August 21st 10:30 am to 3:00 pm Dress for Success will be accepting interview and seasonally appropriate suits that have been dry- cleaned and are on hangers as well as blouses, shoes, purses, scarves, costume jewelry and anything else that you know to be appropriate for a job interview to make a great first impression. Drop-offs are to the address below.
